Texas’s Arlington — Coach DeMeco Ryans of the Texans referred to running back Joe Mixon as “a force” following his three-touchdown performance during Houston’s 34-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on “Monday Night Football.”
Mixon rushed for 109 yards and scored all of the Texans’ offensive touchdowns, so he carried the bulk of the offence. His three running touchdowns were the second-highest total he has ever had in a single game.
Ryans remarked, “Joe is a force for us when he’s on.” “Our offensive line is where the run game begins. I pushed them to play aggressively and quickly. They did an extremely good job, in my opinion. I’m pleased of the players for taking on the challenge, and I truly admire how we just kept churning it in the run game.” ...
