Police confirmed to NBC News that in October, burglars allegedly broke into the grounds of Windsor Castle. This estate houses the principal residence of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The outlet was informed that a burglary “at a property on Crown Estate land” was reported to Thames Valley Police just before midnight on October 13. After breaking into a farm building, the criminals “made off with a black Isuzu pickup and a red quad bike” before heading to a nearby town, according to the police.
