About the role
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented QA Engineer to focus on testing customized real-time translation solutions and self-service tools. Our customers often require tailored solutions to align with their specific needs, including UX adjustments, branding customizations, and support for their technologies.
In this role, you will validate these customized solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements while maintaining seamless functionality and usability. The role includes self-studying new technologies and platforms, identifying edge cases, navigating uncertainties, and ensuring consistent quality across diverse use cases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance user experience and drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Ensure that web content, chats, and ticket translation solutions meet customer requirements, including rendering, formatting, UX alignment, and customer-specific requirements.
Ensure the smooth UX, high performance, and accuracy of our self-service product parts, like Billing and Usage analytics, Translation Storage, etc.
Create QA documentation for internal use and pass the verification process when publishing our integrations on third-party marketplaces (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Atlassian, Zendesk, etc.).
We are looking for:
Our ideal candidate possesses the following background and skill set:
3+ years of SaaS QA experience.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Ability to design, develop, and execute test cases and scenarios.
Essential experience and knowledge of microservices architecture.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Good knowledge of Web-browser and how to work with API requests at the dev console
Good knowledge of sniffers and testing of desktop applications for SaaS products
Good knowledge of REST API and JSON/XML and expertise in testing them.
Proficiency in using tools for API testing (e.g., Postman, Insomnia).
Excellent attention to details
Excellent ability and willingness to continuously learn how different systems work.
Ability to effectively switch between multiple products or projects, demonstrating adaptability, prioritization skills, and a focus on delivering high-quality results in diverse contexts.
