The primary mission of the Marketplace segment is to help consumers âshop their valuesâ and put purpose behind their purchases. PublicSquareâs Financial Technology segment includes Credova, a consumer financing and payments company. PublicSquareâs Brands segment consists of D2C companies, like EveryLife, a premium life-affirming baby products company.

As a Copywriter for our marketplace division, youâll play a pivotal role in introducing our customers to our best merchants and products. Responsibilities
- Write compelling copy on schedule for a range of channels, including website content, email campaigns, blog posts, and social media.
- Connect with our customers to gain insights into their struggles and aspirations, using this understanding to craft messages that resonate.
- Research our assortment and related topics to help communicate quality and inform purchase confidence.
- Leverage AI tools to scale your impact in alignment with brand standards.
- Utilize customer data and feedback to optimize content for conversion and SEO impact.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, sales, and experience teams to ensure a cohesive narrative across touchpoints.
- Maintain copywriting guidelines to ensure consistency of brand voice with the broader organization.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience in copywriting, preferably for direct-to-consumer and eCommerce brands.
- Experience with AI, SEO, and analytics tools in your writing workflow.
- A keen eye for detail, with an understanding of the nuances of language and context in branding.
- Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, photographers, and product engineers.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for balancing creativity with clarity to motivate specific customer behaviors.
- Outstanding time management abilities in support of iterative delivery and seamless coordination with partners.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and a curiosity to embrace new technologies that enhance content creation and distribution.
