About the role:
We are seeking a highly technical and strategic analytics lead to drive impact at the intersection of data, healthcare quality, risk adjustment, and operational reporting. This role is a blend of individual contributions, people management, and project management. You will collaborate cross-functionally with our highly talented product, engineering, clinical, and operations teams, ensuring we build high-impact solutions for CMS risk adjustment, quality, and operational reporting.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage a team skilled in data analysis, providing mentorship, guidance, support and career development, while enabling analytics maturity for the organization.Leverage expertise in CMS risk adjustment, HEDIS/PQA quality metrics, patient attribution/engagement, and other related areas to derive high-impact insights that shape strategic initiatives for the organization.Act a thought leader, using operational and subject matter expertise to identify key challenges, align stakeholders to shared goals, and bring clarity across teams such as Operations, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Data Engineering.Define and drive the team’s vision, ensuring measurable impact, collaborating with leadership to shape strategy, track progress, and share resultsLeverage expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, Tableau, and/or Looker to develop scalable end-to-end analytic solutions, mentor team members, and conduct peer review of ongoing work.Leverage industry-standard agile project management methodologies (Scrum, JIRA) to drive efficiency, clarity, and impact in project delivery.Effectively communicate results distilling complex insights into clear, actionable takeaways for stakeholder.Collaborate with data engineering / data science and other analytics teams to identify/establish shared data sources and investments. Identify and advocate for industry-standard best practices to ensure development of scalable end-to-end solutions.What makes you a fit for the team:

Required3 years direct experience managing an analytics team4 to 6 years experience in healthcare data analytics, healthcare economics, or actuarial science4 to 6 years experience and expert proficiency with analytic/modeling tools and software (SQL, Python, PySpark, SAS) and visualization tools (i.e., Tableau)Demonstrated experience managing analytics teams working on key managed care concepts such as Risk Adjustment, Provider Capitation, attribution, and HEDIS/StarsDemonstrated experience managing analytics teams assessing datasets for accuracy and consult with key stakeholders to contextualize data inconsistencies and the resulting impact to reporting and measurement designExperience in proactive communication and cross functional stakeholder management, including presentations to leadership and external entitiesExperience in driving strategic as well as operational projects, supporting both operations and data/analytics stakeholdersPreferredExperience working with government healthcare programs such as Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and MedicaidFamiliarity with value-based care Advanced knowledge and/or certification in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Looker) is a plus.#LI-Remote
