Seeking an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Testing) to work with other QA team members for an external client
QA SDET
Test Design & Test Planning | Understanding of various testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, security)
Ability to create test plans, design robust test cases, and organize test suites
API Testing & Integration | Working experience with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or REST Assured
Ability to automate API tests and understand service interactions
Version Control Systems | Proficiency with Git (branching, merging, pull requests)
Familiarity with best practices for collaboration and code review in a team environment
Debugging & Troubleshooting | Capability to trace errors, analyze logs, and review stack traces
Experience with debugging tools and techniques to identify root causes of failures
Agile & DevOps Mindset | Comfort working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Familiarity with DevOps practices focused on frequent releases and rapid feedback
Collaboration & Communication | Strong written and verbal communication skills for crossteam collaboration
Willingness to participate in design discussions, sprint planning, and daily standups
Continuous Learning | Awareness of emerging testing frameworks, tools, and best practices

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Programming/Scripting Proficiency | Strong command of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#)
Ability to write clean, maintainable code to build and optimize test automation scripts
Automation Frameworks & Tools | Experience with frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Provar, Robot Framework, etc.
Knowledge of structuring, configuring, and maintaining automated test suites
CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Delivery) | Familiarity with setting up automation in pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Ability to integrate test automation into build and deployment processes for rapid feedback loops
